Sally
Davies - SR29
Sally
has had a very successful racing career to date. Twice Ladies Class
6 National Champion in '97 and '98, BAS Ladies Class 6 Champion
'04 and BAS Ladies Class 6 Runner Up in '05 to mention a few titles
she has won.
Sally
started racing in the early '90's, sharing her Dad, John's, car
at the time. She has raced in most of the ten technical classes
we can choose from.
In
'95, Sally earned her first Nationals trophy, finishing third in
the Tenby final. Her first National's win came at Nottingham in
1998. The heavens opened for the Sundays racing and whilst the pits
were under water, Sally romped home with the title.
Just
12 months later, Sally repeated her victory on a dry track, this
time at Evesham.
Since
then she has gone on to win many major meetings including BAS finals
and also finish in trophy positions regularly whilst sharing the
car with her brother Paul.
At
the 2005 Ladies Nationals, Sally finished third in her final whilst
keeping the pressure on second place.
In
'04 and '05, Sally won the MAP Open in Ladies Class 6, being the
only Lady to retain her title for those two years.
After
finishing third in the final BAS of the year, Sally has finished
second overall in the series to add yet another piece of silverware
to her collection.
